It's Bowl Game Day. #hottytoddy #ramblings

On a roll.

We get requests a lot about doing prints based on a 1949 Greyhound Bus roll sign that we've got. Well, we don't make any, cause that fake bus sign thing is done to death out in the open market, so it isn't something we've been interested in. Plus, we've got two pieces that are framed and make up the sign, and they are 3 feet by 13 feet, so it's a bit cumbersome.

That said, I was stoked to see Jeff Hall, a great photographer from just down the road, take it on himself to make one for his own personal collection. Well done, my friend. Well done.

Merry Christmas.

Here's hoping you get to spend some time with family and really soak up the beauty of the season. Thanks for being good to us this year. Here's to finishing strong.

Well heck. We're on a roll. Let's keep the Christmas videos going, shall we?

The Christmas Story

“Unless you turn and become like children, you will never see the Kingdom of Heaven.” - Jesus

This, my friends, is beautiful.

"Look what you did, you little jerk."

Nothing like Home Alone quotes to liven the spirits this Christmas.

With that thought in mind, we got a little something for you. Our 2013 Christmas Card. We made 75. Each one numbered. We gave away 70. They aren't for sale. They are for gifting.

So, today, the 17th, we're gonna send along a print to five random folks who order. Order before midnight and the elves might be sending something your way.

"You guys give up yet? Or are you thirsty for more?"

I'm not a businessman I'm a business, man

When we're not selling prints on papers we're selling printed papers. Or at least showing up in them. I'd gotten together with Adam O'Daniel when I first got to town for lunch at Leroy Fox. He was introduced to me through a mutual friend, and was so kind as to not only give me the lay of the land in our new city, but to write a story on us, as well.

And now that we're in the Business Journal, I guess I've got relevant dinner party conversation if we end up around bankers. Which this town, of course, is lousy with.

Give it a read over on the Charlotte Business Journal site.

12th Day.

Technically, I don't think the 12th Day of Christmas was actually on the 12th of December. But I'm not into doing research, so this is what you got.

We're doing a giveaway over on Twitter and Facebook. So, head there and see how to enter to win this Manners print in a colorway we don't print up anymore.

And remember: Partridge = Peartree

Southpark

We were mentioned in Southpark magazine a few weeks back. Southpark, I do believe, is target to the eponymous community a few miles from us on the South side of the city.

And while I can't link you to the mention, as this baby isn't online, trust me. Nice thing were said.

Billy Bible

We've got up a new print today. It's a deconstruction of part of the Oklahoma flag and it's named for a family member from way back in the day: a Cherokee relative with a fitting name for a print with 6 crosses on it.

Another name came up at dinner about a fellow named Alfred E. Mudeater. Now, I'm not judging Alfred one bit, but I think Mr. Bible comes in a bit stronger.

Give her look and a read over here.

Getting picky

Sweet Peach asked us for some Christmas gift picks and so we gave em 8 things, made by Southerners, that are worthy of passing along. And I figure since we're all past Thanksgiving, it's about that time to buy things if you're into buying things.

Check em right here.
