Today we own a 1932 built piece of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Time to make it a home.

Mr. Wilder's Wonka was one of those characters that made a poor kid from Alabama think anything is possible. Turns out, it is.

There I was. A Southerner in Manhattan. Spending a week away from home and missing the South something awful. I showed up at a theater to see a man play banjo. A funny man, who walked on stage alone, and with five strings and three minutes he took me back to Alabama. Ever since then I've seen the banjo more as an interstate than an instrument – all lanes clear, heading back home. 📷@shopthegoodsouth

In typesetting, a sort is a character. A letter let's say. Or a number, or a glyph. So, when you are out of sorts, you are literally unable to communicate any longer. Well, here's a whole alphabet with enough sorts to get those little ones up to speed and talking and reading all other sorts of things. For sale on theoldtry.com now. Check under New.

There's a lot to say about Moultrie. We could go on about how we defeated the British cause of how hard us Americans wanted it or how freedom was destined to win or how those South Carolinans are a tough as nails bunch. But what we really want to say is that we got a letter from a fellow named F.K. telling us we should look at the Moultrie flag. Which we did. And we liked it. So we went with a little more modern version (love the old one, too) and printed it up and we thank you S. Carolinians for fighting with all your hearts.
